With a new album in tow, famed producer Bonobo heads to Prague

Bonobo has long been one of the most successful producers on the electronic scene, releasing a number of albums under the famous ninja melody label, topping the global charts and earning three Grammy nominations.

He returns to Prague after four years with a concert at Forum Karlín on 26 November. This time he brings his current recording fragmentsthe most moving album that Simon Green alias Bonobo has ever composed.

It’s also one of Bonobo’s most collaborative projects, with memorable appearances from Jamila Woods, Joji and Jordan Rakei, to name a few.

While there’s no drastic change to the Bonobo plan, you’re unlikely to find a track where Green doesn’t seem as masterful and laid-back at his craft, delivering his most soulful and skillful efforts. nowadays.

Floating strings, orchestral arrangements and choir vocals are woven over infectious beats and trip-hop beats, sounding like Caribou and Four Tet’s work on tracks like “Otomo” and “Age of Phase.”

That being said, Green is certainly in a league of its own, delivering a rich, majestic sound suitable for both late-night festival slots as well as historic big band venues.
