The KHAMORO World Romani Festival in Prague concludes this year with an exhibition of large-format paintings by eminent Roma artist Zoran Tairović, currently on display at the New Town Hall Gallery (Novoměstská radnice). The exhibition, titled TAROT / THE MAJOR ARCANE includes 20 original works including a multidisciplinary and multimedia presentation of more than 30 of his pieces.

He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Novi Sad (ACIMSI) in Graphic Design and Painting, and holds a Masters and Doctorate in Interdisciplinary Studies, Applied Arts Management, also from ACIMSI.
Tairović is a typical example of complete artistry. His multimedia works have won several prestigious world awards and he is also the author of the very first opera consisting of Romani, a musical and several documentary films.
He has participated in many cultural events and festivals abroad and in the Czech Republic with performance art. He is the director and founder of the international festival of documentary films on subjects related to Romani, FROM, which is held every year in the small town of Mali Iđoš, Serbia.
The artist also worked as an advisor to the Vice-President of the Republic of Serbia for Roma issues. December 9 is the last day of the exhibition.

KHAMORO’s musical offer ended in September with a gala concert of traditional Roma music at the Roxy club in Prague. The festival is organized by the organization Slovo 21, zs and the company Studio Production Saga, sro
