We are looking to recruit a dynamic Scientific Secondary Teacher to join our Prague British International School, a Nord Anglia Education school.

We will look to you to promote high expectations for our students, designing learning activities aligned with our school’s programs and creating a culture of learning where there are no limits to what can be realized. You will foster an environment of respect within the classroom, facilitating learning through questioning and discussion. You will be experienced or have a minimum of 2 years as a teacher and have the ability to progress to an IGCSE and IDBP science specialty in the coming years.


You will be able to adapt quickly to our rapidly changing international environment, you will possess a university degree, a recognized teaching qualification and teaching experience. Committed and creative, you will reflect on your own teaching and student outcomes, researching and implementing new ideas and innovative methods to raise the level of school achievement.

Anxious to collaborate and share your expertise, you will be an ambassador of choice for the school. You will communicate confidently across a variety of audiences and situations, using your expertise to build strong relationships with parents and students. You will also be able to respect the visa restrictions for the Czech Republic. You must hold min. a Bachelor’s degree. You will have proof of good results for your students and you can prove it from your results.

The 2020-2021 school year has been Nord Anglia Education’s strongest on record for school results. For the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, our students achieved an overall average of 36.2 points and a pass rate of 98%, with more than 20 students achieving a perfect score of 45. In A levels, our students have scored 65.4% at A*-A, as well as 83.7% at A*-B, with a group-wide pass rate of 99.4% and seven schools achieving a perfect pass rate of 100%. In this year’s I/GCSE results, 59.6% of pupils achieved A*-A grades, with a group-wide pass rate of 89.5% and 13 North Anglia schools achieving a pass rate of 100% perfect pass.
