Retno calls for cooperation and trust at Prague Indo-Pacific Dialogue – Asia and the Pacific

Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi concluded her one-day working visit to Prague on Monday, where she participated in the high-level dialogue on the Indo-Pacific organized by the Czech Republic in the framework of the rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union, that it succeeds France. next month.

It is the second in a series of forums, along with the first Ministerial Forum for Indo-Pacific Cooperation hosted by France in February, and comes as the EU seeks to implement its strategy in the region. The Prague Dialogue discussed the region’s challenges and potentials, covering issues such as cooperation, defence, economy, connectivity and entrepreneurship.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, Retno said she suggested the three key ideas of inclusiveness, rules-based order and practical cooperation to build shared security and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific in the middle of the tumultuous world situation.
