Product Owner for Manpower’s Cloud Platform | Expats.cz

Are you an experienced Product Owner looking for meaningful employment with impact in the environmental sector? Then this job in an aquatic environment company could be the right choice for you. You will work in a Czech subsidiary of a Danish company offering tailor-made solutions in different types of aquatic environments: agriculture, energy, climate change, groundwater, ecosystems and environmental risks.

The global team is located in 7 countries and consists of around 1,000 modellers, engineers and other experts. Due to the opening of new positions in the Czech office, we are looking for a new colleague to contribute to the development of the cloud platform for:

• store and analyze hydrological data,

• monitor water leaks from the distribution network,

• optimization of the sewage and water supply network.

Job description:

• Full commercial ownership of the cloud platform roadmap, ensuring the cloud platform supports our product and consulting businesses in the best possible way

• Communication and negotiation with stakeholders within the company to collect and prioritize feature requests

• Communication with the platform development team to refine feature requests and set development priorities

• Participate in overall product architecture and design decisions

• Coordinate with other product owners and ensure alignment with other products and technology stacks

• Occasional travel to meet stakeholders in person

Candidate Profile:

• Experience working with agile teams

• Effective use of issue tracking systems such as Azure DevOps, JIRAOr other

• Strong writing experience feature requests and user stories

• Experience with products running on cloud infrastructure, SaaS solutions, big data analytics projects, machine learning projects or the Internet of Things is a big plus

• Good level of English (oral and written)

• Knowledge of Czech, Danish or other languages ​​is a big advantage
