Prague Harley Days Celebrates 10th Anniversary Looking Back

From September 2-4, Prague Harley Days, the Czech capital’s premier motorcycle festival, will return, celebrating its 10th anniversary.

Music, American food, Czech beer, stand-up comedy, plus all the traditional attractions of Harley Days—bikes, parades, competitions and workshops—there is bound to be something for everyone. Even people completely new to biker culture can attend the events and learn something about the traditionally American subculture that has recently flourished across Europe.

For those who don’t wear the proper leather jacket, there will also be plenty of pop-up shops offering jackets and chaps, as well as t-shirts and hats at various price points.

In order to celebrate its 10th anniversary, Harley Days has decided to look back: capturing the best and most exciting moments from each of the past 10 years.

“If someone had asked me 10 years ago where I see myself in 2022, I probably would have struggled to answer, at the 10th edition of Prague Harley Days. 10 years have passed, and we and Prague Harley Days are still here, we are having fun, and have planned and figured out how to make the event even better for this year” Says Jaroslav Vavřina, the organizer of Harley Days. “The last ten years have been marked by ups and downs, disappointments and enthusiasm. And now? We can’t wait for grade 10.

This enthusiasm has found an echo throughout the biker communities of Central and Eastern Europe, which over the past 10 years have come to rely on Prague for such an event.

Vavřina also highlights the welcoming nature of Harley Days: “We really invite everyone, riders of all brands, families with children, adrenaline seekers and admirers of motorcycle style, but also random passers-by. All belong to Prague Harley Days and we think they will have a great time. It will be a ride, but it will be worth it.

For bikers, Harley Days is a veritable cornucopia of community and fun. However, it is not limited to Prague: Harley Days offers several tourist routes that it suggests that motorcyclists take in order to fully discover the region of Central Bohemia. A motorbike, on the open road, hair in the wind: hard to imagine a better way to see the Czech Republic.

The festival takes place at Vystavištê in Prague 7 and will take place throughout Friday, Saturday and Sunday at several different venues within and around the convention site.
