New Prague Hires New Deputy Business Manager

Linzy Bannie was offered, and accepted, the position of Deputy Director of School Activities in the New Prague area (pending approval by the New Prague School Board).

Linzy was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. She graduated from college in four years from Concordia University, St. Paul with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a major in Sports Management and a minor in Coaching. Throughout Linzy’s time in high school, she participated in volleyball, basketball, track and field, and tennis. She then participated in volleyball competitions while at Concordia University.

Linzy comes to New Prague from Visitation School in Mendota Heights where she has been an administrative assistant for athletics since 2018. She has been coaching volleyball there since 2011. Prior to her move to Visitation, she was an adult volleyball coordinator for volleyball in the northern region of the country. since 2011. Linzy discovered her passion for helping children grow not only in sports and extracurricular activities, but also as people when she started coaching volleyball while still in high school. She is extremely excited to join the Trojan team and help make a positive impact on students and the school as a whole.

Linzy currently lives in Lonsdale with her husband Jim and three children. stepson Carter (11), daughter Kira (5) and Colt (2). Carter loves football and is excited to play for the Trojans. Kira is eager to try new sports as she begins her journey as a Trojan and plays outside no matter the weather. Colt loves trucks and playing outside. They all love being with their family, boating, being outdoors and swimming. Linzy is looking forward to being part of the New Prague Trojan community.
