John Malkovich will present the premiere of a One-Man Show in Prague

Oscar-nominated actor John Malkovich will host the world premiere of his latest show, The infamous Ramirez Hoffman November 11 at the Prague Congress Centre.
The infamous Ramirez Hoffman is based on the work of Chilean author Roberto Bolaño. The title of the play is taken from the final chapter of Bolaño’s 1996 novel Nazi Literature in the Americas, which was expanded into the short story Distant Star.
The book is the story of an artist who only cares about aesthetics rather than ethics.
The infamous Ramirez Hoffman will be staged in English, probably with Czech surtitles. Tickets for the show are available for purchase on Ticketportaland run from CZK 1490-2990.

John Gavin Malkovich is an American actor and producer best known for his performances in films such as “Places in the Heart” and “In the Line of Fire” for which he received Academy Award nominations. He had a long and productive four-decade career in Hollywood. First an actor, he ended up becoming a great producer.
He was born with a love for the performing arts, although neither of his parents came from show business backgrounds. He showed a keen interest in acting from childhood and actively participated in high school plays. As a teenager, he was part of a folk-rock music group and was also part of a summer theater project.
He started his acting career as a stage actor. He became a founding member of the Steppenwolf Theater Company and appeared in several of their productions. He made his Broadway debut as “Biff” in “Death of a Salesman.” After his brilliant career on stage, he launched into the cinema.
During his early years in Hollywood, he only managed to land minor roles.
He eventually landed a major role in “Places in the Heart” where he played “Mr. Will” for which he was nominated for the “Academy Award” for “Best Supporting Actor”.
