Invitation to the 26th MADE IN PRAGUE festival

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in London and Czech Center London invite you to the 26th multi-genre festival MADE IN PRAGUE, which will take place from November 1 to December 4, 2022.
Over the years, the festival has become a platform of choice to present Czech culture in the UK in the broadest possible terms and passionately strives to contribute to the strengthening of our mutual cultural ties.
This year’s festival program revolves around personal stories, experiences and commitments conveyed through a wide range of vibrant and contemporary artistic expressions. There will be new film productions, many Czech and European film festival winners; musicof the most famous classical composers performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at sizzling jazz and the last rhythms of electronic music; poetry touch at least expected science topics; but also creativity and innovation that embrace a promise to effectively address our current and most relevant issues such as the future sustainability, climate change and gender equality.
The festival will feature over twenty events and programs in collaboration with many acclaimed UK partners and venues, such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestrathe CIB Southbank, Tate Modernthe Science Museum, The royal institutionthe Picturehouse and Prince Charles Cinemas to only cite a few.
I am very happy that the festival also resonates outside of London, reaching the whole country via three classics of Czech cinema with incredible scores by Zdenek Liska on the BFI player.
Wherever you are, I hope your encounters with the Made in Prague Festival will be deeply rewarding and warmly enjoyable. For accomplishing this, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Czech Center’s tirelessly dedicated team, our volunteers, and the many supporting partners without whom these wonderful “Dating made in Prague” would not have been possible.
