IBA Group commissions new IT infrastructure facilities in Prague

To improve business continuity, the IBA Group has commissioned additional IT infrastructure capacity in the Czech Republic

PRAGUE, CZECH, Feb. 21, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — In order to improve business continuity in line with the company’s Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan, IBA Group has commissioned additional IT infrastructure in the Czech Republic. Equipped with Lenovo and Cisco equipment, the new infrastructure is co-located in the T-Mobile DC-7 data center in Prague, one of the most advanced and interconnected options in the country. The newly commissioned facilities allow the IBA Group to maintain the continuous operation of its delivery, production and support divisions in the event of adverse developments in any of the countries where the IBA Group has software development centers.

The scope of this six-month project included:

• Purchase of relevant hardware and software
• Installation work and resolution of emerging telecommunication problems
• Creation of two production landscapes under Red Hat and VMware virtualization
• Creation of a DevOps landscape based on IBA Cloud Platform, the IBA Group’s proprietary open source software solution
• Implementation of backup and replication mechanisms
• Revision of the IBA Group’s infrastructure management method, as well as standard and emergency operating plans and instructions

Since mid-February, the new facility has been available for the migration of corporate resources and projects from other IBA Group data centers, as well as for the creation of new high-capacity production and development environments. .
