Position Title : Financial Analyst
Location: Prague, CZ (hybrid work)
Reports to: Financial Controller & Analyst EMEA
Type of Contract : Permanent full time
job summary
As a financial analyst, you will analyze the financial situation of our European branches within the Outdoor & Recreation business unit (brands Coleman, Campingaz, Marmot, Sevylor ). You will collect, monitor and study financial data and recommend actions.
You will cooperate with other colleagues from finance and sales and marketing teams in the EMEA region.
Main responsibilities:
Prepare, review and distribute monthly financial reports
Track expenses and income against budget and re-forecast and analyze fluctuations
Prepare monthly operating reports
Maintain budget and reforecast information in the reporting system
Assess benefit and cost efficiencies across various areas of the organization as required
Develop, maintain and distribute ad hoc reports as needed
Participate in the profitability reporting project
Create financial models using electronic spreadsheets
Participate in other projects and analyzes as needed
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics
1 to 3 years of experience in reporting, consolidation and/or financial analysis
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and good command of other MS Office applications
Fluent English (written and spoken)
Prefer:
A good knowledge of Power BI and the use of macros would be a plus
Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
Proactive with ability to work on multiple projects
