As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining supply contracts for the purchase of goods and/or services for various sites and lines of business. You hold a portfolio of agreements and have very close interaction with internal customers and colleagues as well as external suppliers. We communicate by e-mail, chat or telephone and there are also opportunities for client-side business travel. Therefore, loving communication and having a passion for excellence in service and teamwork will ensure your success.
The main responsibilities in this role are alignment with end users, selection and negotiation with suppliers, analysis of results and support with contract creation and relevant administration. .

WHAT WILL BE PART OF YOUR ROLE
• Interaction with internal business customers to clarify requirements, agree sourcing tactics, respond to questions and issues
• Negotiate terms and conditions
• Develop supply plans
• Prepare RFPs, RFPs, sealed bids, reverse auction event hosting and related tasks
• Develop contractual and commercial conditions
• Contract design and input into ERP systems to promote high transaction management efficiency (i.e. ordering, payment)
• Conduct functional reviews as required with tax, legal and other functions
• Execute sourcing strategies developed by Category Specialist and interact with regional sourcing groups as needed
• Management of supplier relationships within the portfolio, including monitoring, evaluation and reporting of supplier compliance with contractual measures, as applicable
• Identify opportunities to reduce ad hoc orders and/or consolidate contracts
• Perform other related duties as assigned
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• Min. Before Christ. degree – preferably in economics / finance / business
• Procurement/Commercial experience is an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and ability to build influential relationships at all levels
• Knowledge of French, Dutch, Italian or German is a big advantage – our suppliers are located in different countries
• Strong ownership and ability to work independently
• Able to negotiate and interact with suppliers and customers
• Disciplined execution of processes and focus on customer service
• Proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of SAP or other systems will be an advantage
